Superflora UK Ltd has appointed Inkfish to handle its new joint venture with the Post Office. Superflora, a subsidiary of the Dutch Flower Group, is an established market leader for the supply of fresh flowers to the retail marketplace, specifically through multiples such as Tesco, M&S and Asda. The company now plans to enter the home delivery marketplace via the Post Office, an existing Inkfish call centre client.
The Post Office will take orders in store and telephone Inkfish to process the order. Additionally Inkfish will handle brochure requests, information services, store location and customer services as well as questionnaire handling. With a dedicated team in Brighton and overflow to Slough, the new account - which becomes operational on November 1 - will have inbuilt flexibility to handle peak periods such as Valentine's Day, Mothering Sunday and Easter.
Phil Ransome, Director of Superflora UK, comments: 'Inkfish has a proven relationship with the Post Office, our joint venture partner, and has also demonstrated an ability to manage the peaks in our business, as well as full integration with all that our brand stands for.'
Dan Cuthbert, Post Office Telesales Channel Manager, adds: 'The Superflora development is one of a series of additional services we aim to introduce to give added value to our customers.'
'This account is a further endorsement of our growing relationship with the Post Office,' explains David Potter, Inkfish sales and marketing director. 'Superflora has a great reputation within the marketplace and we look forward to working with the company to develop this new sales outlet'.
