May 2007 – The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), the largest professional body for accountants in Europe, has appointed Inkfish Services Ltd, a subsidiary of the Domestic & General Group PLC, to handle all direct mailings to its membership.
As well as general direct mail campaigns, Inkfish will be responsible for mailing all 150,000 members – including students - with newsletters, learning resources and other Institute materials.
Sue Best, ICAEW's Director of Marketing, said, "We held a formal tender process with a number of potential providers and Inkfish was selected on the basis of their ability to provide the full range of mailing services to the level of professionalism and quality that we require. With more than one million mailing items sent out annually, we are delighted to be working with Inkfish to deliver the highest standards of service to our members and stakeholders."
Jason Langford-Brown, Client Services Director adds, “We were delighted to win the ICAEW account and are looking forward to managing the communication needs of their members”.
